But wind is about speed, movement, control...

THey would move objects around, people around... Wind storms would make everything really weird for people and they wouldn't know whether to switch to a sword or a bow and arrow to hit their opponent since everyones flying everywhere...

you're contradicting yourself
when you talked about lightening, you talked about it as it is in real life, meaning it's path must be a direct one and would only hit at one point.
but when you talked about wind, you talked about it like a fantasy, saying you can control it.
well why wouldn't we be able to control lightening in a zelda game? i dont see why not...
