Re: Perfect War, Perfect Deception (OPEN [Rules inside])

OoC: Pish posh. You assume J would allow himself to be caught on camera? =P

BiC: The tall young man couldn't help but grin. The fool on the intercom must have really thought of himself as invincible. He was far too sure of himself. That would be his downfall right there. Chances were someone would take him out before J even had to deal with his high and mightiness.

J smirked and shook his head. If the man in charge really did think the museums blast doors could hold everyone back, then... lets just hope he didn’t. For his own sake.

The armored man promptly tore a hole in the iron door and continued on his way. There was enough noise going on around him now that he wasn’t too worried about attracting attention, especially since he already had the heat signatures and could already pinpoint most, if not all of the competing bounty hunters.

In any case, J’s top priority right now was ensuring that the Hunters Ruby hadn’t up and walked off, or this whole thing would have been a complete waist of time. After a few short moments of dodging all forms of predated (from J’s point of view) security sensors and cameras, J was on the second story banister overlooking the grand prize. It was still there, housed in a metallic pillar that stretched all the way to the ceiling with a three-foot section of glass that reviled the grand jewel. All around it stood an assortment of display cases housing other various stones and precise artifacts.

J frowned slightly from underneath his visor. He wasn’t entirely in love with the idea of high-powered battles braking out at the expense of priceless ancient artifacts. But there was nothing to be done for it either. J wouldn’t put it past the other hunters if one of them knew where he was by now, and it no longer mattered. The time for the ultimate game of rugby was at hand.

Dropping down to the ground floor with a thud, J strolled up to the glass housing under the pillar, swung his claw and shattered the silly see-through wall.

... Or... not... Huh.

There glass housing was not even scratched. J stepped back, fired two plasma bolts into the reflective surface and slammed his claw into the glass with nearly full force. Still nothing. Nothing at all.

Well this isn’t part of the plan... J thought to himself as he glanced behind him. Someone had attempted to sneak up on him. Of course, the heads up display on the armored mans visor would never allow such a thing. Looks like this wasn’t ganna be a grab and go mission after all.

OoC: There’s no posting order... So everyone post as fast as you can!
