New Advent merely reproduced the Catholic Encyclopedia. It also has a good source of patristics and a translation of the summa.
The old Catholic Encyclopedia is good, but not without errors. One is advised to steer clear of its treatment of the Eastern Churches in particular. But it can be endless hours of fun. For instance, "
beard" and "
hair (in Christian Antiquity)." For instance:
