If anything, they would make a sequel or prequel to TP, since it's their current flagship title.

Alright, I'll dumb it down for you. MAJORA'S MASK (Item) & TERMINA'S prequel, no Link involved. As in the origions of the mask and all that good stuff.
Does it make sense now?
