Yes, yes it is. But at the same time, it hasn't even begun. In other words, a MM prequel is somewhat likely, as there are a lot of things that can be explained from the origional.

EDIT: Okay, now I know what you're saying, but I still have no idea WTH you are suppost to mean. OoT's story does just fine without MM. MM, however, is very reliant on OoT to make sence.
