This is sadly true. LoZ, ALTTP, and OoT had a huge impact on the gaming community. Now 10 years later, as fantastic as the zelda series is, fewer and fewer people care about it. If you're a game company wanting to make money, you can create something cheap and catchy like guitar hero, or massively multiplayer like WoW or halo on xbox live. With the zelda franchise, nintendo has tried to cater to the small community that wants a long traditional adventure game, but you have to wonder how long they can keep this up before they start making drastic changes and cutbacks for financial reasons. Even if a zelda game does make some profit for the company, the sheer amount of time it takes to make one modern 3D zelda, vs tossing out a dozen wii tennis or wario ware games, is getting less and less worthwhile

That is all.

The problem is that Nintendo feels they need to give the player a fresh start each time, with no weapons or hearts, so the player can collect everything. To them, this means constantly making new Links. They really need to get past this idea (MM and AoL were successful in using an "old Link"), and also need to break the conception that the LoZ series is the same story being "retold". If even a few people still have that idea, they're going to be less willing to buy a new zelda game since it makes the new game sound like it's going to be a remake of the old ones. What Nintendo should do is solidify an overarching storyline to the series, and give Link (preferably not another new one) some new challenge to face

I don't know what you just said, but like the original poster GamenerdAdvance said, majora's storyline is over. He's been destroyed.
