In the old testament, god is jealous, vengeful, and demands worship. Then Jesus comes down and says "Oh by the way, my dad's not pissed anymore. now all you have to do is ask for forgiveness and he'll love you forever and let you into heavean. YAY! bunnies and butterflies!
