Well, (for me) it would depend on why he left my mother. If it was because he didn't want a child, or it was one of those bang and go things, then I would have to say I'd hate him. But if he left because my mother wanted him to or there was a financial problem, then I guess it would be Ok, I wouldn't hate him as much.
