Well, since Rain is going exploring, it saves him from having to wait for Zorlo for a long while. As for where Rain is off to now, Rain will wind up navigating the long corridors of the Gardens until he finds himself in front of a dark green door with swords crossing in the center. As to what he does before he gets to the door, that's up to you. Have at it. Minimum: 500.
