FYI the p35 chipset doesn't support quad channel memory, only dual, so your system is dual. if you want quad channel look into an Intel 5400 based system. down side is those only work with FBDIM-DDR2 and real world memoryperformance is notably lower due to increased latency at the module level and lesser clocking.

FYI that e8500 begs for 400FSB.
