I very much like the first one, it's very engineer looking. Like you are really planning to bulid it. those kind of drawings are good to make 3d renders of.

The second one is good. I would suggest markers on these kinds of things though. They always remind me of graffiti and it desirves bold colours. I've never been one for colour pencils unless they were prismacolour.
