And the mind reading thing can be dropped. But controlling others, I don't think that's a too powerful thing. He doesn't use any armour, and must therefore use telekinesis to parry a attack. So, in addition to mentaly blocking a swipe, he can therefore enter the mind of the attacker and delay the attack for some seconds, enought for him to get out of the swing. And to put a thought into someone for a while can be a fun, and not a too powerful skill.

Mind reading and controlling others are very powerful. One could potentially cause a character to stab themselfs and that character could not do a damn thing about it. It is okay of he can say control the weapon, or block it, but controlling a person is too much. Also I cannot allow you to get into the mind of another character, or input a thought, because then your character could potentially read the characters entire mind, which is against the rules. Them are the rules and i will not approve him until I beleive he is acceptable.

Regarding his weakness, I designed him to be a potential Jean Gray, in the way that even if he is powerful, he is also a very weak person. He cannot controll himself, and might end up hurting the ones closest. And the emotional consept is from Teen-Titans. In one episode, Starfire and the white girl switch bodies, and they have to learn to use their new power. And Starfire constantly blow things up because she cannot controll her emotions. So, in a battle, if he starts to lose faith, he is suddenly helpless. He requires a exceptionelly ability to consentrate and keep your emotions away.
So, he is a very weak character, which is going to develop over time.

Okay that is fine as long as you use his weakness in battle.
