He's alive, and it's been confirmed. There was a select few people who were trying to pull a direct prank on Captain himself, and Captain has already admitted, over a phone conversation, that he is very upset at the parties, and that he had absolutely NO KNOWLEDGE of this prank even occuring.

So uh... yeah... it's a moot point. Cap is alive and well, as those "*******s" are already being hunted down for termination.
