Was the console you played
TP on your first console?
These are a few huge factors when it comes to difficulty.
For exapmle, my first Zelda was
OoT. I got it in 4th grade. I had a lot of trouble with it. I still find the water temple to be rather hard. Although, now I don't die as much if at all as I used to. First time I fought volvagia, I must have died 50+ times. Now, I am much more experienced. Although I don't get the same challenge I got 6 years ago, I enjoy the games for a few reasons: nostalgia, good story, the occasional challenge, and new experiences in general.
Also, no one can play with their eyes closed and win on purpose, unless they have memorized the games, which I find a waste of time.
I enjoy the games because they are fun to play. I would like more of a challenge, but I take what I can get.
PS:
OoT is a lot harder than the other games in that list of yours.
The first 6 games in the series were the hardest. The last 8 have been getting (for the most part) progressively easier.
