Well, you fight her as the mini-boss and you weaken her. The two witches come (Koume and Kotatke) come and shoot two balls of light at her and she disappears. You go outside onto one of the statue's hands and you get the Golden Gauntlets and you hear a scream. You look down and see Nabooru sinking into the sand with Koume and Kotatke flying in circles above her. This is all when you are a child. So it could be that she is killed in the Child Timeline but can't awaken because Twinrova's soul is keeping her connected to the earth. Maybe.
