Re: End of an Era? (Ti-Link)
OoC: I'm sorry for the what seems to be forever-long wait. =/ Post-it time! =3
IC:
Depressing the number by only one drunk seemed to put an astonishing toll on the gang of mages, as the warrior could now see the slight build-up of fear and doubt deep within their minds of magic. They now all formed a surrounding circle around the warrior, as if they were a hungry pack of wolfs preying on a helpless rabbit. Vitros however, was much more then helpless to defend himself, it was more of the fact to fear of causing a riot.
As his head turned in different directions to make sure he was actually surrounded; a second loud crash of wood sounded from the spot of the drunken mage slamming through a window. Along with everyone elses heads turning toward the sound, so did the warrior's, as there was now a man standing in the street of night near the window. The warrior guessed that he must have been a victim to the throwing of the drunk. The aspect that caught most of Vitros' eye was the person's clothing of tie-dye robes and hat that he seemed to wear without a care.
He kind of liked it, but ice mage needed to focus on the situation at hand.
"Alright, I've had enough with you stupid, self-righteous, drunken mages!"
As the new arrival yelled at the mages that surrounded him, he saw his chance to end the situation. Seeing that all the mages were now drawn toward the unknown man, the warrior dashed with lightning speed and landed a side-kick from beneath the man under his chin, sending the man straight up toward the sky without any chance to dodge.
The drunks suddenly turned to see what had happened, but not before one of the men was picked up by the back of his robe and tossed at another staring man, sending them both clashing together across the gravel in a spore of dust, and as the dust illuminated the air, the man from the kick finally hit the ground face-first.
The two moves took less the then two seconds of Vitros' time as he raised back to his feet from his crouched position as he let out a small breath. Even with the quite nicely warm night, the breath could be seen with all its frost gleaming from within. Bystanders watch the breath, and tremble from the feel of a cold chill coming up their spines as the warrior collapses on the ground.
Dispite the little effort needed to subdue the drunken mages, the warrior's body had finally let him know that it had had enough. With his mind slowly drifting from him, his eyes finally shut as his consciousness finally fell to a sleep.
