Because the ending, in my opinion, didn't end the movie.
Spoiler (Highlight to read):
The antagonist gets away free, and the protagonist gets gunned down after showing that he's a good man.

Now I'm not sure whether this was to show that the world is a real place and that more often than not, evil triumphs over good or what, but it was a disappointment to see it end the way it did. If there's hidden epilogue somewhere after the credits, then tell me.

There was no climax to the movie. Seriously. It dragged. Maybe I'm desensitized or something, but there was no real high point to the movie.
Spoiler (Highlight to read):
It did have its moments, like the time when Moss got in the car to escape from Anton only to see the driver get shot, or the car accident at the end,
but to me, a lot of the movie was just "see a guy kill people like and express no emotion, run away" stuff.

Also, I can't tell whether having zero music in the film hurt it or helped it.

All in all, I think that this movie does an excellent job in showing a realistic situation in a realistic world. I don't know, maybe I didn't give it a chance, but I did not enjoy this movie the first time I saw it.
