Shantanu, standing in front of the shimmering teleporter that he had come through, stretched his arms high in the air. It was about time he had been given a vacation but he hadn’t expected anything like this. What a ritzy place this station was. This kind of place was perfect for the Lilim. He loved seeing the different kinds of areas humans replicated. “So, let’s see just where I ended up,” he muttered. A large, glass pane overlooked a calm beach with lounge chairs situated in neat rows. Completing the picture was several palm trees creating spots of shade and a couple seagulls cawing at each other. On the other side of the glass, where Shan stood, was a nice lounge area with several chairs and couches along with a bar stocked with several different kinds of alcohol. I still can’t figure out why human like alcohol so much. At least, not when they drink so much that they can’t get up the next day because of a hangover. He smiled at the memory of a New Year’s Day celebration.

Of course, once he actually took in his surroundings, Shan realized he wasn’t the only one in the area. Then again, considering this is a popular vacation place, it’s not surprising. However, the man was pretty heavily armed for being on vacation. Not to mention he had a cautious expression on his face. Of course, that could just be attributed to Shan appearing suddenly and completely ignoring anyone else there. So the Lilim decided to make amends for that and raised his hand, “Hiya.”
