Mazrath

I know I already have another approved character. However I know little to nothing about that character. I could read his whole description but I just do not know him.

I believe using Mazrath from my Astari Guard- Legend of Tazrl story I will have an easier time using him.

Name: Mazrath

Age: 67

Race: Astari (Night Elf, will explain in bio)

Sex: Male.

Hair: Long black unkempt.

Eyes: Light gray eyes.

Weight: approximately 120 pounds.

Height: 6 foot tall.

Weapon: Mazrath wields two slender scimitars. They were crafted from the finest Talenight, a very rare and incredibly strong metal. These blades will never become dull and will remain razor sharp until the gods themselves dismantle them. The blades are almost weightless.

He is also uses a bow that was crafted out of the finest Dark Wood; the type of Trees the Darkwood Forest well known to produce. It is a black polished bow with an unbreakable bowstring.

Mazrath also has several daggers ranging from different sizes hidden through out his body. These allow him for a quick weapon when disarmed. These daggers' posses nothing unique about them.. Making them an easy replacement in the case he uses them as projectiles.

Armor: Mazrath wears Padded Leather Armor that has been magically enchanted. This Padded Leather Armor is very flexable and allows for easy movement.

Under his Padded Leather Armor he has a Chainmail mesh crafted from Talenight.

Mazrath usually very sturdy leather gloves have also been magically enchanted.

He also has Padded Leather leggings. These like his other leather crafted armor have been enchanted to allow for incredibly flexability and prevents his movements from being constricted.

Under the Leggings is a mesh chainmail leggings also crafted from Talenight.

Strengths: Mazrath is an exceptional swordsman and archer. His heritage also gives him an edge over enemies.

Astari are incredibly agile. This allows them to jump through the trees with great speed and traverse the Darkwood Forest floor with ease.

Astari also possess Night Vision. While it may be pitch black to other races, an Astari can see clearly.

Weakness: Mazrath is overly confident and loves a challenge. The ideas of overwhelming odds in battle only increase his desire to fight. This often blinds him and puts his allies at unnecessary risks. He also has a tendency to taunt his opponents. The combination of these two often lead to disaster. He is also vulnerable to strong blunt damage. War Hamemrs and other such weapons will result in heavy damage.

Although his armor sounds and looks quite impressive; its enchantments have only made him unrescricted in his movements and provides some great deal of defense. However the armor does little to mitigate the pain he feels when hit by a serious blow. His armor does prevent most direct attacks.

Skills/Magic: Mazrath possesses no real magic talent. He is able to produce minor healing spells, but only to heal small wounds at an incredibly slow pace.

Appearance: Mazrath is six feet tall with a slender build. Has shoulder length black unkempt hair. His skin is a pale gray color.

Mazrath normally wears Padded Leather Armor that has been magically enchanted. Under this he wears Talenight mesh chainmail. He has a green cloak embroidered with the Astari Guard insignia: a crescent moon with four stars shining above it. This cloak also has a cowl. He also wears leather gloves and leather leggings also enchanted.

Personality: Mazrath is very calm and patient. He will also show a very humorous side of himself when it fits the situation. He is rarely angered; when he is angry he can turn into a very dangerous opponent.

When presented with a challenge, whether it be overwhelming odds or fighting someone superior to him he gets excited. He has a tendency to mock and taunt his opponent. Often times when his students or comrade comment on how stupid he is being he will mumble ‘You guys are no fun…’

Mazrath follows the teachings of Lady Ulthelien, Goddess of life. He rarely follows all of her teachings fully. He does follow one by heart; to protect and preserve the life of the innocent.

Biography:

Mazrath was born in the capital city Whisperdale. His upbringing was average for a middle class status. His father was a common city guard. His mother was a talented seamstress. His elder sister, Crystal, left when she was 17 while Mazrath was only ten. The memory of her departure haunts him to this very day.

Lying silently on his bed he stared at the ceiling allowing his mind to reflect on the days' events. Nearly asleep, Mazrath heard something that provoked his curiosity. Outside his room he heard the soft footfalls. His first thoughts were a burglar. A crashing sound echoed through out the outside hallway. Followed by a low groan that revealed the identity of the burglar; his older sister Crystal.

Now his curiosity could not be satisfied; not until he knew exactly what she was doing. Getting out of bed, Mazrath tiptoed towards his bedroom door. Pressing his ear against the hardwood, he could tell that she was no longer outside his room.

Silently opening the door, Mazrath could barely see anything. Astari do not develop night vision until their fifteen; Mazrath was only ten at the time. Tripping on several things, Mazrath finally arrived at the front door that had been left ajar. Opening the door further, Mazrath was able to silently slip out of the house.

Under a dim lamp Mazrath could see two distinct figures. One of them dressed in a very revealing outfit. The second figure dressed in armor. Wanting a closer look, Mazrath slowly edged his way towards the two figures.

What he saw shocked him. Their Crystal stood in a revealing outfit. Crystal was attractive with an amazing figure. She had light gray skin with long sleek black hair. The one dressed in armor was her current boyfriend. She had her hands draped around his neck; her body pressed against his armor. To anyone this would appear as two people romantically involved. Mazrath knew better. The first clue was that they both had stern looks on their faces.

Then they broke apart and walked away. Curious, Mazrath continued to follow them. After several moments they had led him to a clearing twenty feet from town. What he saw in the clearing scared him profoundly. Seven Giant Ogres towered in the clearing. Giant Ogres were rare. They towered at the height of thirty feet, the average being a mere 15 feet. They had massive muscular bodies with light gray skin covered in battle scars and dried mud.

"You did well my love," Crystal purred, "I knew getting my children here would be an easy task for you."
"It was nothing," the man replied enjoying the praise, "all I needed to do was slip the outpost guards some poison."

By this point Mazrath’s head was spinning. What was Crystals plan? What did she mean by… her children? What about the guards? All these questions swam through his head.

"Did you miss Mother?" Crystal asked. All seven Giant Ogres nodded vigorously. This was another thing that puzzled the young astari. Ogres were nearly impossible to tame, but taming a giant ogre was unheard of. Despite this, there she was, standing before seven of them.

One of the ogres gave a dull roar causing Mazrath to give a small whimper. Crystal turned to his direction. Her gaze was deadly.

"If it isn’t my little brother." She said coldly.
"Sis-" was all that Mazrath could say.
"Do not be afraid little brother," she said in a soothing voice. "How much do you know?"
"Nothing," Mazrath stammered.
"Good, now run along and let the adults talk." She said turning her back on him. Doing as he was told, Mazrath left them and returned to his bed.
The next few days several small towns were destroyed, all reports claiming a seven giant ogres following the orders of a young lady. Not once has he revealed this secret to anyone. He could have prevented this, if he had only told his father.

Feeling responsible for the death and destruction, Mazrath swore that he would take revenge.
