Feeling drowzy, and with no fireballs to speak of -- Johann leant on his staff and rifled through his waistcoat for a mint.

I really do smell at dreams, y'know. I mean: Three's obviously the wrong number for a punch-up. You're either ganging up on someone, or there's one chap feeling left out.

He found a tin of peppermints -- and extracted one, idly watching the fight. He was onto the imperial center before the slim human scored. A blow the hilt of the biker's dagger and it was knocked aside, out of his hand. Defenseless and biteless with only one dagger the half-elf turned to run and retrieve it immediately...

...only to find it under the boot of Johann: Rested, armed and with surprisingly fresh breath. He kicked the dagger over, counted to three and attacked.

The first blow was a swinging arc from behind, wood hitting forearm. The second was a spinning movement, staff passing between hands in the air and ending with a backhand stab to the stomach -- daggers useless against such attacks, Flame Demon grabbed the staff by hand and forced the blade down by his side. Johann repositioned his right hand above the half-elf's grip and swung it round and up: Releasing it from his enemy's hold and narrowly missing his chin.

Johann paused to smile at the thin tear going up his foe's leather jacket, before impulsively blocking to the left. This was the callow guy with the shiny sword: attacking methodically but with speed. SUddenly on the defensive -- all Johann could do was hammer out the sword blows as they came. Panicking, he tried to find a pattern: some attack formation that he could exploit the next time it came around -- but the flailing, slashing motions seemed to bear no repetition, and Johann kept a wary eye out for the biker a few metres back, in case he decided to join in again.

And he did. Just as Johann slipped and fell back on a log -- the biker plunged, knocking Exarius aside into a brawl on the grass.
