Miss Piggy? No, you can't be Miss Piggy, because I'm going as Miss Piggy. I already have the heels on, see?
I'm so pleased that there are so many Jim Henson fans on the board who recognise his work beyond the Muppets - fantastic as they are!

I'm cool with Beaker, Swedish Chef, or Rowlf. OR ANIMAL! I want to go as Animal! I might settle as going as Dr. Teeth, if I grow my beard out enough.
It's hard to choose

.
We could always do a theme thing and go as Statler and Waldorf...

Jim Henson is easily my favourite entertainer. Hands down, without a doubt. The characters and worlds he created defined my childhood in a way I don't think anything else quite did. When I found out he was dead when I was six (two years after his death) it was devastating. I didn't sleep without my stuffed Ernie or Snuffleupagus for months afterwards. In 2000 on the ten year anniversary of his death I looked up about his funeral and various tributes and bawled like I was still six. Still makes me tear up thinking about it. He's the only "celebrity" I've ever shed tears over.
