“DAMNIT!”
A blond haired man swung his body around in mid air kicking an oversized bird's beak off his arm. The beast of an eagle was at least ten feet from tail to beak with a sixteen foot wing span and golden feathers sparkling in the moon's light. The strange man grabbed his arm, looking down at the metatropolis that exapanded in all directions, though he hated cites he was thankful for the light pollution, at least that night. With his blood stained hand he reached for his waist, pulling out a shimmering blade.
The giant monster screeched and pecked again for the man's arm, but instead tasted cold steel. With a grunt the magical man pushed the angry eagle back pulling his blade back to strike it down, “Piss off already,” The man hissed stabbing forward, only to have his blade caught in huge talons. Then, with a might thrust the talons tried to jerk the blade from his arm, but the man persisted causing his body to whip harshly through the air.
Flexing his arm the caped man pulled back on his captured weapon which did little more then anger the bird even more. With might flaps the two dove downwards towards the call of skyscrapers. If one was watching from below all they would have seen was a shooting star glimmering in the night, maybe they would have mad a wish.
The two crashed through the roof of the tallest building causing rocks and debris to scatter through the air and onto the ground far, far below. Groggily, the victim opened his eyes just in time to see the pale image of a beak through his dust covered eyes. Faster then a heartbeat the man rolled onto his feet to go head to head with the Bird that was now perched on the ground glaring at him ferociously.
The blond haired stranger just managed to get his blade up to catch it between the birds mighty beak. He could feel his blade start to shake as the bird clamped down even harder, showing no signs of weakening or giving up. Being no fool he knew the blade was going to break at that pace, he had to move fast, “Wind from heaven, your time is nigh-Wind, Ventus vesica” Like magic seven glimmering blades of wind formed beneath where the angry beast stood, and all at once thrust forward sending the bird spiraling upwards through the dust and back outside in the “fresh” air.
The beast was far from dead, it's eyes now blood red in it's rage. Glaring down about to nose dive the unsuspecting man, except it seems he was suspecting it as, like a flash of light, a blade found itself imbedded into the beasts chest. Game over. The blond haired man leapt through the dust and grabbed ahold of his blade, swinging it with all his might causing the bird to be split almost in half blood raining down. The man's cape settled as he landed on one side of the whole, as the beast crashed ion the other, not a single drop of blood was to be found on the figure of the victor.
With a cocky smile the man looked up only to be treated with the light green eyes of a startled women...
