Re: Meetings of Chance (Nikuvillain)
The sound of flowing water, splashing water, water that flowed passed her face and covered her ears. Water, yes, that cool gentle liquid touched her body and brought her back to the world. Her eyes opened up as if for the first time in her life as she quickly shut them close again. She couldn’t feel her body anymore all the pain was gone and the only feeling she had left was the cold flowing water that covered most of her body. She tried to talk, but only a small cough came out.
The man that saved her turned his head towards her. She rested in a stream of water and her warm red blood washed down the stream. They been camped there for five days now and he’d been worried if she would ever wake up. He heard another light cough come out of her mouth as she tried to say something. He wasn’t shock that she couldn’t talk since he did hit her hard and she had done a lot of screaming.
Jezebel felt a large rough palm rest on her belly and a shadow covered the sun from her closed eyes. She could feel the warmth of life entering her body and flowing through it. Calmly and gentle it reached her throat smoothing it and relaxing it back to life. “Is that better?” the deep commanding voice of her master asked.
“Master?” she asked weakly in a soft gentle voice. A tear rolled down her eyes as she turned her head away from him. If she had, enough strength she would have ran away in shame. “I lost.”
“You did, but not because you wasn’t strong enough. You lost because you lost control of your power and it begun to take form in the world outside of your body.” He said and he glided his hand up to where her heart is. “This wasn’t strong enough to hold that much power, so I moved it to a stronger place. Can you feel it? It’s really close to you.”
Jezebel just shook her head not feeling anything, but the water flowing pass her. She searched her body for her powers, for any powers, but nothing. She shook her head again finally opening her eyes and a small green line moved passed her sight.
“You can’t feel it yet, because your soul is still healing your body. Mostly likely, it’s using a small part of your power to keep you a live right now. Don’t worry you’ll feel it when your soul stops over working it self.”
Jezebel jumped through the tree tops making her way to the port. She finally recovered and the church already gave her a mission. She wasn’t happy, but at least she was better her thought and she shot out a chain clear across the open field to other tree that was miles away. Since she recovered, her chain has felt stronger and been able to grow longer than before.
“To the port your target is called the Avenger he was spotted by are spy on an island named Iceizdar.” She repeated to herself thinking about how much they care about her. She was pissed at the church, but left without saying a world. She was saved and to say something with her master around would be asking to take that gift away from her.
She made it to the port and took the only boat to the island. It was a small boat that smelled like fish, she guess the island wasn’t that big so she target should be easy enough to find. She rode the boat for what felt like years before they finally arrived at the shoe of the island. The place was odd it looked like a topical graveyard place then what she thought it would be by the name. Now where can he be? She thought view the dieing leaves hanging from the trees.

The die plants that covered the jungle like island was every odd to Kaien, but not interesting enough to view it history. He was trailing something more interesting and it when into the cavern ahead of him. It was a strange red head young man that he followed. Kaien couldn’t put his finger on why this boy caught his eye but he did. He strolled through the cave checking every so often which way the man when.
The awaken heard the odd rhythm of water droplets splashing up against the rocky floor below. He slowed down to a claw, getting closer to the man. He could finally hear his breathing and he heard the sound of ice forming. It was odd to hear the sound so clearly, but he slowly got closer and closer. The boy just sat there doing nothing as ice shards formed in the air.
Kaien watched on wondering how the ice formed in the air. It’s something he never seen, but as he study it a large piece of ice flew pass him as he dodged his body out of the way. “How did he find me?” he asked gripping his chain as he landed on his feet. He held on to the chain as it glowed dim, “Attacking me was not a good idea boy,” He said ripping the chain off his neck and forming it into a lager metal pole.
