Strengths: Fast-moving and agile, with a powerful build and stronger than most humans. Her reflexes are much faster than a human's, her 5 senses are much more attuned than a human's. She can use darkness to her advantage as cover. She is very skilful with whip and sword, can suck blood from opponents to gain strength and heal wounds.

Weaknesses: Has a strong distaste for bright light and tries to avoid it, but will not hesitate to fight if she has to. If she has not fed with blood for a while (a few days) she will be weakened. Because she is not a pure-blooded vampire, she lacks magical abilities.

Appearance: Valdaria's appearance could best be described as "gothic". Her features are sharp and imposing, with a sharp nose and high cheekbones. Her face is ashen and pale, her lips a bruised purple in colour., and her eyelids dyed black. Her long black hair is mostly combed back where it falls down to her waist, a few strands left to frame the sides of her face. Her upper lip in usually curled up in distaste, disgust and indifference at everyone around her.
Moving downwards, she wears a spiked leather choker around her neck, about halfway down her neck. Her upper body is clothed in a black corset top which is tight around her chest, giving her a nice cleavage. She wears a mismatched pair of arm warmers. The one on her left hand goes from the base of her fingers all the way up to just below her shoulders, and is coloured in alternating stripes of black and fuchsia. The one on the right is black leather and only goes up to her mid-forearm, fastened with leather straps and metallic buckles, serving as a vambrace of sorts. Her nails are dyed black.
Her lower body is dressed in a frilly black and purple skirt that goes down to about alightly past her mid-thighs, not very revealing. The skirt is held up by a studded leather belt, with a strap attached to the right side of it to hold her whip securely. Beneath that she wears a pair of tights which have the same colour scheme as her left arm warmer; namely alternating stripes of fuchsia and black. Her feet are adorned with shin-high black leather boots, fastened firmly with both laces and an assortment of leather straps and metal buckles. The boots have a round-tip platform sole about two inches high, and a a wide heel that reaches a height of about four inches, thus showing off her legs but still comfortable to travel in.

Personality: There was once a time when she could have been called pure evil -- malicious and thriving on the pain and suffering of others. One man changed all that however, and though they have long since parted ways he still holds a special place in her thawed heart. In many regards she is still similar to her old self. She can be sadistic and ruthless at times, but only when pushed past her breaking point of resentment towards an individual. In general she can be considered antisocial, not really bothering with people unless something directly affects her. She is also quite lethargic, slugging off into inactivity and boredom. It's very difficult to get her excited about anything unless she wants something herself, at which she will go through any means to obtain it. There's also a playful part of her that's very hard to release, unless of course she wants to be playful.
She is still quite aggressive and violent if provoked enough, although it takes a lot for someone to really get to her, since she usually shrugs off most insults. She views most men with intense suspicion and distrust -- they need to prove their worth to her before she's even willing to accept their presence near her. She doesn't like to show fear and anger -- and indeed doesn't, usually appearing unfazed before threats, danger, and possible injury. In general she uses a lot of sarcasm and biting comments in her speech, and she has quite a distinct Russian accent, being originally from Romania.

Biography: She was born in a Romanian village which was next to a forest, and her real name was Natasha. She had a happy childhood, and was raised by her loving parents. When she was 15 she fell in love with a boy of the village called Johan, and he too shared the same feelings. All was normal until her 17th birthday.
One night she was out by the forest. She felt she was being watched, and she was suddenly attacked by a vampire called Lucien, who drank her blood and left her to die, but not before giving her some of his blood. She was discovered by her family, who brought her home and began to care for her. She was in a coma for a few days, and after she awoke, she was very weak and could not eat anything. If they tried to feed her by force, she would vomit any food. She was mostly calm, but at times huge convulsions would grip her because of hunger, and she would utter heart-wrenching screams. Her family thought it a good idea to call Johan to comfort her, since he was very concerned. When they next checked on her, they found Natasha drinking blood from his throat and bringing him almost to death. At once they brought Johan away, and he survived, but was left lame and unable to speak properly, due to brain damage, for the rest of his life. Natasha’s parents could no longer find their daughter in her form, and the villagers afraid for theirs and their children’s safety demanded something to be done. Her father resulted in the decision to kill her, since her eyes were devoid of feeling. At the critical moment, he hesitated, he couldn’t get himself to do it, and let her go in the forest.
For a few months or so, she wandered in the forests, feeding on the blood of animals like deer, and she was with ragged clothes, living and feeding like a wild animal. Eventually she was found by the vampire who made her, Lucien. She was reluctant to follow him, but after he gave her human blood, which was more fulfilling than animal blood, she yielded and followed him. He took her in to the vampire community in a hidden cavern citadel, where he gave her clothes, a new name, and a home. She was trained in the abilities of vampires, and learned how to hunt humans, as well as sword fighting, all by Lucien, who was their leader. She eventually became a very skilled warrior, both with the sword and whip. This continued for three-four years, after which a relationship formed between them, and Lucien eventually took her as his wife, and they lived together for five years.
Eventually, rumours began to circulate amongst the vampires that Lucien had a relationship with another female vampire. This, of course, infuriated her, and she found them both, and after the truth was revealed, she got both of them and gave them slow, painful deaths, first the female whilst making Lucien watch, and then himself. The other vampires were horrified at the death of their leader, but none dared to confront her. Fed up with the whole secret citadel business, she left, living on the road, killing humans to feed, and terrorising small villages. She intends to go wherever she wants, and will not allow anyone to stay her path…
