Worthful Impressions

"Like winter's blizzard snow, quick in decent,
stranger's eyes, showing false truth,
caused relentless confusion in what they truly meant;

Though, inviting, such were these eyes,
Gave way to indefinite sleep through the stranger's gaze;

Now caught away in a dream,
the snow clear, blank paths lay uncharted;

No obligations,
opinions forming a creation,
your conclusion reached too soon;

And yet, this path, so swift discovered,
so swift arrived destruction;

Influenced, this path was,
by others and their habits, molded it was;

Like one's hope gradually crushed,
caused so gracefully by a fool's love, trust, and overconfidence in their false friends,
in what one may have considered honest and loyal associations;

But, for the sake of one's soul not to harm,
light seeps in through the snow-covered burial of bad habits,
giving way to a new hope, renewed conscience;

For death, this feeling experianced,
through a glance into a stranger's 'grey' eyes;

Cry out now, in joy,

For the truth is that there is much more worth in one's life than what can be only observed through a simple first impression,
...that can be found by a mere glance through a stranger's eyes."
