If that did happen, the core essence of Zelda would forever be contaminated. Yes, Zelda games need change. But they can change while still adhering to the core essence. Kinda like with what PH did:
PH had a few interesting changes, but it was still a Zelda game, and it had that "core Zelda" feel to it.

What that article was suggesting is that the core essence be radically changed. Signing treaties? Being an older adult Link?

I dunno, maybe its just me, but if Zelda games went to that extreme...

I do believe however, that a true Wii Zelda is coming soon

I think a game like that would be okay as long as it would be a spin off. I wouldn't want all Zelda games to be like that but it would be okay if it was just a spin off game. I like the idea, i hope the Zelda team do experiment a bit.
