¿Cómo se llama? (what's your name?) is too formal, usually used to ask older ppl than u..
it's better to say ¿Cómo te llamas?...

now, what's your name? is not ¿cómo te llamas?, but ¿cuál es tu nombre?

some contractions...

pa' -> para - to
q -> que? - what .... or .... que - that (don't confuse with eso - that)
x -> por - by [this is because of being the multiplication sign x]
then.....xq? - por qué?
see?? it's really easy :p
