In Jacobs cabin there is a man, this man is none other than Christain Shepherd, Jack's father. I first spotted him because of the white shoes. Because of the Vcasts we see Christain talking to Vincent (The dog) before the show even starts. After Jack wakes up we see a white shoe (ones similar to the ones Christain wears in the cabin)
This could mean many, many things.

Maybe this was what Jack meant when he said "Do you want to bring my dad into this?" In his Flash-Foward. The evidence points to Jacob being Jacks dad. Also, Hurley saw Jacob, I wonder what that means?
