As the shadows grew short, so too did Nekatsuki's plans. What he'd thought would have been a half hour or hour fight had extended over several hours and was still going though neither fighter moved. Both were tired and battered. Nekatsuki cracked his neck to relieve it from the minor impact. The attack would have worked well, had Wildfire's head not been harder than Nekatsuki's, a feat the Kiwadoi didn't think possible.

Silence stretched for the first time since Dawn and Nekatsuki, who earlier claimed never to be out of options, was having to eat his words as he was running out of things to do. His Scar was beginning to burn, something odd in itself to add to this odd day, and part of him wanted to find that Kid dragon and finish what his earlier lightning bolt had not. What he didn't realize was that the wish to kill Zoshonel stemmed only a little from himself. The rest was coming from Odjn's wish for a new Soul.

Nekatsuki did, however, have one ace he knew would finish the battle. D-Awaken, the secret power of a Kiwadoi even more feared then the Killing Edge and less known because of its high success rate for finishing an foe before they could reveal the secret or wounding them in such a way they can't reveal it. His only real problem was that in his current state, he wasn't sure if it would last long enough to kill both Wildfire and Zoshonel and the condition it would leave him in. The first time, he wasn't able to move for a day or two and wasn't back to full for a week or two. After than, it lessened but he still would be unable to fight for a while. Now, well, he was sure the fight would be over soon, but finding Zoshonel...that was the challenge afterward.

Higher still, rose the sun into the sky now. Nekatsuki and Wildfire continued waiting for the other, neither willing to make the first move at this point. Nekatsuki watched with interest with his Dragon sight. He could now see a dark grey, almost blurry sphere within the Dragomancer's life aura, something he hadn't seen before on others up until now. He also noticed that the Dragomancer was strengthening visibly now, even faster then earlier. That lessened his options even more. Even still, Nekatsuki felt he could win without it, the small strength boost equal to his own Demon-fueled, Dragonic recover, or at least what he felt was equal. If I don't win this soon, then D-awakening will be it... If not, then my inner Dragon will have to get some exercise. "Hey, Dragomancer. Ever heard of the 'Kiwadoi's Secret?" Nekatsuki asked suddenly to the slight surprise of Wildfire.

"Your Killing Edge, if I remember. Yes, for you used it just earlier agai-"

"No, Not the Killing Edge," Nekatsuki spoke, cutting off his foe. "I mean our true secret. The reason though all Dragon-kind would gladly see us returned to the Darkness, only the greatest and most powerful Dragon-kind ever try to kill one of us." Nekatsuki smiled menacingly at Wildfire. "The one that succeed are abnormally maimed and injured if they return at all. Even Bahamut only has three or four Kiwadoi killed and he's the King of Dragons!" Nekatsuki was nearly laughing at Wildfire's face. It must have been new information to him. Not surprising as Dragons rarely speak of the Kiwadoi, because of their impure power. "I'm talking about a power that can even touch the moon."

"That's the third time you've said that!" Wildfire snapped. "You speak as if -"

"I've done it?" Nekatsuki raised one fist. "Oh, but where do you thing that black circle came from 6 months ago?" Before Wildfire could respond, Nekatsuki held up a hand to stop him. "10 Minutes. You have until the sun is directly overhead before I show you the power that harmed even the moon. Better get fighting. Or running. Either is fine by me."
