...Yes... Yes you can. I've done it several thousand times. In fact, I'd say it's much easier to get a hockey game going in the street than a soccer game.
Nonetheless, hockey and soc... er, football are my 2 favorite sports. I've always just liked hockey more, since I grew up right as the Avalanche were coming to Colorado and delivering stanley cups. I'm also a kick-awesome floor hockey and broomball player, whereas I've not played much soccer in my life. Plus hockey is (at least in america) a quite intense game to watch live, while Soccer can get slightly boring at times (plus if you go down by 2 in soccer, you really are screwed. I've never actually seen my team get up from a 2 goal deficit. Then again, Celtic rarely goes down by 2.
