I was brought up with football --Understandable
you feel a far greater conection with footballers --I don't get it
in hockey you need to wear all sorts of protective clothing and in soccer you just get a ball and play -- sure but it doesn't make it a better sport

it is just far more entertaining and watchable. --I quite disagree, hockey forces you to pay attention all the time or you can miss something, soccer takes years to develop...
