The trick is not to look to causal. If you are decked from head to toe in weaponry, and equipment then obviously your a thief. In the same way if you look too normal then you'll be picked off by well trained rent-a-cop's. The thing is that by looking causal you look suspicious. No one is wandering near a famous museum in the middle of the night dressed in regular civilian ware. You have to be dressed up in some sort of way as to look a bit eccentric. That is how you justify your midnight parade, and how you get to avoid the eye of the ever watchful security team. After all they where the only real problem. The sentient creatures despite their insufferable ignorance, and stupidity where still able to think logically, compared to the booby traps, and wire fences they will catch even the smallest slip up, and everything had to go perfectly.

Opening up a structural diagram of the complex Derrik mused over the final points of his job. The letter he had gotten had told him to reach the Ruby stationed in the direct centre of the museum facility. Unlike the other exhibits this one was heavily guarded due to the price of the gem, and as such it would be no easy task infiltrating it. Prodding his finger over a bump in the map he found the one weakness in the security set up. The power generator was located outside the main building, in a small almost garage like secondary complex. It was held tight by steel doors, however there was always a way.

The Perfect human's blue eyes glanced up at the clock hanging on his Hotel room. Ten after. In fifty minutes the guards at the main gate would be changing, and that should allow him enough time to make it in without being detected. Then all he had to do was shut down the power generator and everything else was as easy as cake. Well except for them.

According to the letter he was sent there where more going after the same goal. He was not doing it for the money, but the mercenary Job offered to the victor paid a lot, and Derrik's funds where running out. If they got in his way he would have to dispose of them in what ever way necessary. He needed the funds to continue his mission and he want about to let a rag-time group of would be mercenaries take that away from him. Standing up, he grabbed his white trench coat, and hat heading out of his room. Walking down the hall and to the right he shared the elevator to the bottom floor with some old lady. As he reached dhe bottom he briskly walked off, ignoring the clerks friendly smile and wave.

Stepping out into the night air he felt a sigh of relief. The night was chilly enough that he could just barely see his breath in it. Looking up he saw the large building towering up from every direction, the perfect staple of modern society. Even at the middle of the night you cold not see the stars through the night through the endless glare of the city lights. As he walked towards the museum which was conveniently only a few blocks away his guns clicked lightly against their holsters.

Stopping shortly, he let his coat blow a little bit in the wind as he looked towards the museum. It was large and complex consisting of about six stories. The style on the outside seemed similar to pseudo roman, or Greek. There was nothing real about this place, just another among the thousands of exhibits showing life as it was for our society to gawk in amazement at. The human world seems so entranced by nature, vegetarians refuse to eat meet, yet drive SUV's. Naturalists don't condone the hunting of wild animals, yet welcome with open arms the killing of people different then themselves. Museums where supposed to help people understand the past to save the future, instead they just stand at awe of the past and never learn anything from. I suppose that is just another way people take something positive and turn it into a negative without even recognizing their own transgressions.

Sighing Derrik checked his watch, the time was almost nigh. Only five minutes until he needed to move. Pacing his steps he looked at the facilities. The parking lot was all but empty, only the cars of the security remained, and the path to the museum was barred by large gate, and a fence surrounding a man made field. It wouldn't be too hard he figured as he watched a car pull into the parking lot. Ducking behind a car for a second Derrik watched closely a blue suited figure opened the door of his Chevrolet, and walk towards the gate.

It was the time to move as the clock ticked down. The man unlocked the large gates, and started to push it close behind him without even looking. The time was now. As the door swung close Derrik bolts forward silently, as the door swung closed the so called “Perfect human” saw his chance for entering get slimmer, and slimmer. A clicking sound was heard as the door locked shut, causing the Guard to turn around as he walked. Seeing nothing he shrugged and continued on his way, but in the bushes Derrik stood up and brushed some twigs off his coat as the man entered the large structure.

Looking around quickly Derrik saw no other signs of movement, it seemed if the others he was told where trying for the same prize where either already inside, or yet to appear. He had hoped they appear, taking out a small power generator, and infiltration a museum was child's play, maybe a game of touch and go would spice the play up.
