Chapter 1

Let me tell you a story . . .

A story about how the world is and why it is like it is, a story that spans human evolution. A story that explains our cause and is always in the making from the beginning.

It all began in 2999 Anno Domini, an ancient time for us, when our primitive ancestors began a nuclear war that killed 6 billion souls and only left 5 million to stay underground and struggle for another millennium. They waited until the Earth would absorb their man-made radiation and become Earth once again. Little did they know, what little radiation that was left over helped with the recovery of civilization.

Humans now possessed something they largely though of as a myth: magic. Call it God-given, or just a fluke of evolution, it allowed civilization to rise to a modern age. Natural selection chose those with powers, and our present race of humans, the Homo Magi Sapian, came to be. Five million souls multiplied to ten billion within the span of 50 to 100,000 years, but it had a dark side.

It was either fate or nature, but by 1 Million Anno Domini, the population became only 3 million souls after the world experienced a cataclysmic flood. Many were angry at God and felt that He was the cause of it. From this hate towards the Almighty came a new religion. A religion based on the worship of hate, sin, and the Devil. It was called Hellisim and was born by a man (I should say demon, for that is his appearance!) named Chanto Lucis. Soon many people followed his religion and his evil ways; that evil man living through the many years thanks to his cursed immortality!

Civilization rebuilt itself after the flood and so it rose and fell with each natural or man-made disaster, each cataclysm being blamed on God and each disaster gaining more followers of Hellisim. In the words of an ancient poet, “Surely the Second Coming is at hand.” But alas, it was not.

It was 1000 years from today that Hellists and the few that had lost all sense of good and religion decided to use their God-given powers to find and capture. Many damned lives were lost in the search for God until a group of twelve mysterious men known only as “The Sins of Apostles” did find Him and imprisoned God at the North Pole in a fiendish device constructed of black magic and godless technology known as the “God Machine”. The architect behind this soul-sucking generator was a man named Alan Beelzebub. He and his eleven other hellish fiends saw that God was a being of pure light and decided to use His energy to power the wheels of a new civilization built on sin. Alan had saw that him and his wicked fiends powers were “good” and granted them immortality. He later burned in the flames of Hell and now his twelfth descendant, Lucius Beelzebub now watches the “God Machine” and his sinful “Divine Energy Company” distributes His energy to every last damned and good souls around the world. This is what they call “hell on Earth”, but it is not; it is just life in the year 3 Million Anno Domini.

However there is good in the world and I’m part of this. I am part of a secret organization whose goal it is to set free God and restore divine justice to this dark world. “Good always prevails over evil”, says the old saying and we, the 7th Crusade shall make this happen! My story of the past is finished, for now you know of the evil in this world and now you shall know that it’s not over, for the evil has not been smitten just yet!
