Re: A Trial of Angels(Sakume)
Lyia was in literal shock. To get off clean, no judgement, no sentancing, and the greatest of all, no death? It was almost too good to be true. What if he's just lying to you. It wouldn't be the first time a man lied to you. Lyia had little appitite, she merely picked at her food, not really even touching it. She looked at Lutai a few times, she did not wish this for her beautiful wolf. I'm sorry Lutai, I had never wanted this for you. I thought I settled this when I was banished. Lutai merely whimpered at Lyia, unable to do anyhting else. She did not face the Captain at all.
The Captain, I only know his last name. Yet he wants to get me off clean. And why does he seem so familiar? Occasionally her eyes lifted up to see his movements, he too was not eating much. He occasionally sipped at the wine given, but not much more than that. Lyia sighed, she didn't know what to do. She didn't want to die, but how could she marry a man she hardly knew. Her eyes darkened at this thought, death was something she never considred, and being an angel, death did not come easily.
He clapped his hands again, and more servant angels came, taking away the plates and only leaving their drinks. He stood up and began walking around, and she caught him occasionally looking at her every so often. She couldn't move all that well, still being bound by the chains, but she adjusted her position in the seat, the gaurds had practiacally thrown her in the chair. Her mind was racing with thoughts, who was this guy and why did he want to help her. Lyia figured the only way to get her answers was to ask . . .
"Tell me Captain, why are you helping me? And one other thing, I told you my name, so tell me yours."
"My name is Will, Will Barbrosi."
Will, that name . . . . . . . where have I heard that name before . . . . Will and . . . . and . . . Amy. NO! This is that same angel?!? No it can't be! I remember him being nothing like this man before me! But its him, the name and the familiarity. It's him, its Will, Amy's Gaudian angel.
"Tell me Captain Will, before you answer that last question, answer this one first. What happened to dear little Amy?"
