Hmmm I was thinking about that but considering that ganon is more powerful than Ganondorf and they are both males (we can't have Ganon be king and Ganondorf be queen....well we could, but I like to keep things simple).

Well the mask itself could be a bishop....however, as stated in my first post Skull kids and Fairies (which includes Navi) will be on the evil and good side respectidly

Hmmmm I like where you are going with this except for three minor things.....
1.since they are already called Hylian Knights, they could be the Knights in Chess
2.Goron are huge powerful rock-like creatures......just like the rook (or castle) in Chess
3. I really don't see how a Kokiri can be a Rook. Kokiri aren't powerful, so I found them to be "expendable". thats why I suggested for them to be Pawns
