You are lucky that you didn't get suspended for punching that person. If you keep punching people when they insult you, they will get a message saying that they are getting to you and continue to do it. If you ignore them, they might stop. Anyway, I do admit that racism still exists, but it isn't as bad as it was 50 years ago.
