Yeah, because of the whole author of the book being atheist and all. Our church didn't ban it, but I've heard a lot of bad things about it. I honestly don't get that much into movies to care. I mean, the message in Matrix is - No God as well, but, it's still a freakin' awesome movie and I don't let it shake up my faith.
So yeah, I'll go see this Golden Compass one day.
