Re: What are YOU thankful for?

We have a saying.. *smoothes her skirt down* (that wasn't the saying btw)
That goes something like "And if you try and count the blessings bestowed upon you, you'll never be able to number them. Surely man is unjust and ungrateful"

I haven given up trying to count. And counting within itself or numbering can be very ignorant for the VAST number of things we take for granted.

Why, we also have another saying that goes "if someone wakes up in full health, enough provision for the day and a roof over their heads, they've encompassed life's most precious commodities within their grasp"

The health bit in itself can be enough reason to be ecstatic - have you ever fallen ill?
It's not always easy to remember one's health as a HUGE blessing before illness. But sometimes, wee things remind us. Like.. and this is a favourite of mine- ever was walking and then huge gusts of beautiful breeze/wind blow around you? when that happens - Take a deep DEEP breath! then hold it! then let it out slo~wly. Love-ly. (and a great time to say a furtive thanks that I don't have a problem with my lungs or freedom to be able to experience this >_> )

So, be thankful whenever you remember something to be thankful for and not just at one time of the year ^___^
Alhamdulillah for everything.

*walks off whistling*
