I am thinking of keeping the monarchy where there is still a King in power, but I could always change this to a more modern style government. Also, pertaining to Zelda:
The mysterious bike rider that saves Link from the men that attacked the church is my modern version of Sheik. Zelda slips away from the castle and tries to live a life away from the royal pampering. She ends up getting interrupted by a religious/magical upset caused by these men stealing important religious/magical items from specific places all over Hyrule.
