I prefer Final Fantasy to Zelda.
Personally, I think that the plot and character development in the Final Fantasy games far surpasses that of the Zelda series. I also prefer the battle system of RPG's to adventures.

That is not to say that Zelda is not a fun game though. The puzzles in it are better developed than most of Final Fantasy's, and thats what I like it for.
