To be perfectly honest, some of the old enemies might not really work with the new zelda games unless they gave them a fresh new look, such as what they did with Wizzrobes in TWW. Instead of it being like a robed and hooded human figure, they changed its head to have sort of bird-like features. If they did re-include these monsters, they might not turn out as expected, especially in 3D games.
