Ah yes, technically. floccinaucinihilipilification is the longest non-technical word, I believe. You can, for example, put -ism on the end of it, but then it becomes a "technical" word. I guess you could say it's the longest "root" word, as it can't be formed by sticking prefixes and suffixes on something else (No, ion doesn't cont for this, and neither does in, or lip, or any of the other tiny words found in it.)
