There's word that there's going to be a spin-off developed based on the branch that was introduced in last week's episode. I don't know how I feel about that.

In more prevalent news, the writer's strike has shut down production of "The Office." While I would assume there are existing scripts to shoot on, the fact that the show-runner, as well as a couple of the actors are WGA members (some of whom write for the show itself) means that they've joined the strike and won't be working in any capacity.

I'm not sure how many episodes they have in the can already, but looks like it'll probably one of the first shows to drop off the air once they run out of airable episodes.
