my old roomate's worst fear was spheres. no joke. it wasn't really a fear, so much as a repulsion. any sphere smaller than a billiard ball would utterly disgust and repulse him. one time he was at work (at a video store) and he was straightening some movies, when a saliva-covered icky gumball that some kid had sat and hidden on some movies, fell down and stuck to his arm. he literally vomited right then and there (actually, i think he made it to the restroom first). and Grapes, or raspberries, or a bunch of marbles- HOLY CRAP, he fled like the devil runs from holy water!
