What I'm getting out of this is Link traveling to Termina, Turing evil being stopped by Ganondorf, and being reborn into the Link we know from Ocarina of Time. but as you put it this is put in the past so what I get is that you're saying that when Link entered the lost woods he stepped through a type of different demotion causing him to meet the skull kid and go to Termina and defeat Majora who placed in a mask By Ikana a long time ago then Link goes back to his time and uses the Feirce Deity mask to take over Hyrule where he gets defeated along with all his followers and is giving a second chance by the goddesses...err... I suppose I'm way off now...
But I guess I should stop posting and save you the frustration of explaining it any further…(shakes head and sighs)
