I thought the exact same thing about the Batmobile when I first saw the pictures, but it grew on me once I saw it in action.
I liked them as a child, but then I grew up. Now I might watch parts of them on TV just to have something to roll my eyes out and make intellectual inquiries, such as:
Why does Mr. Freeze, a man driven to save his wife that he loves beyond honor itself, have a woman in (partially) plastic lingerie running about his Evil Lair? He does nothing but shoot down her advances with puns about how cold he is, so why is she there?
