Taking the Saying "Know Thyself" a Bit Too Far
OoC: This takes place after "The Deadlands" and after the first post in Tera's Dome training. See Tera's profile for links.
Also, because each of these posts will be entirely separate occasions, they cannot be named by chapter. (as in; Chapter 1, Chapter 2, etc.)
-The First Meeting-
It was the second time Tera had been within this... void. Tera couldn't see anything, as there was nothing to see; she couldn't hear anything, as there was nothing to hear; she couldn't even move, as the simple truth was that "space" did not exist in this strange place. As far as Tera could tell, her foot was in the same place as her hand, and for that matter, every other part of her body too.
Tera had been meditating during much of her time in the void, thinking about the nature of it and what she could do with it. When she was first in the void, she had panicked, and had tried to leave as quickly as possible, but this had somehow created a 'false' mirror image of herself; one which looked and acted just like her, except did not have her staff. Creating another mirror image was certainly not something Tera wanted to happen again. At least not until she knew more about the void.
When Tera had left the void last time, she had been thinking something like, "I want to be back outside this place," but after she left it, and saw the mirror image, it was a logical conclusion that the staff had helped her leave in some way. Following this point, Tera realized that her other self would not have been able to leave the void and thus, since she was not here, she must be elsewhere in the void... but hang on, was that even possible? To check, Tera thought, "I want to be somewhere else in the void."

Tera had been waiting in the foyer of "The Dome" for a while, and after being told that her teacher would come soon nearly 2 hours ago, Tera had resorted to admiring the room in which she stood. It was a long, marble-patterned, whitish room with pillars standing at regular intervals around the edges of it, with a door between each pillar which not only look the same as the others, but which Tera seemed to know actually were the same door.
From where Tera stood, in the middle of the room, she estimated that each of the ends of the room were about 20 metres away, at one end a heavy wooden door, which she was told would lead back to where she came from, and at the other end a semi-circular desk at which an old lady sat writing down something on a clipboard. The walls to her sides were just under 10 metres away, while 10 metres above her stood a ceiling comprised of two perfect domes, covered by a painted masterpiece filled with creatures of every sort you could imagine.
Just as Tera was about to complain that her teacher had not shown up yet, a loud noise could be heard echoing in the room. Tera looked to the large door and saw a woman dressed in green on the floor. Running over to her and rolling her over so that her face could be seen, Tera saw that it was... herself. With a need to know why there were two of herself here, the concious Tera syphoned life from herself into the unconcious figure through her left earring's bolo, to give the sleeper enough energy to wake up.
As the sleeping Tera lay there, completely unaware of where she was, the other was still wondering why there were two of herself.

"I guess you entered this place in the same way I did," an unconcious Tera heard as she woke, "Just so you're not as confused as I was, I'll answer the questions I had when I entered; You fell from the ceiling, which is where you entered this room - that door over there supposedly leads out; we are in 'The Dome', which is a place similar, yet definitely different, to the void beyond the mirror we made. The Dome is a training facility used for improving those who have the willpower to get here, of which I am going to be a student soon... but now that we're both here, I think that we've got some things to discuss."
The drowsy Tera, looked at her copy and said the first thing to come to her head, "Hang on... you're Tera... and I'm Tera... won't people get confused?"
"Hmm... Good point. How about I use a different part of our name as my name?" The only choices I can think of are Raykel, Thira and Raven; Which one do you think I should use?" The soon-to-be-student listed.
"Umm... I think Raven would suit best. It sounds the most like a name anyway."
"Yeah, I thought so too... So what happened anyway? How were we split in two?"
"I think that our... I mean, my staff let me leave the void but not you, because we weren't focused enough," Tera explained, "but if you stay here to learn, and I take the staff with me to let me leave, we will be able to be doing two things at once."
"...Fine, even though I'd prefer to be out there, know that I know how I got here," Raven mumbled, "so anyway, what happened after you got out of the void?"
"Well, the illusion and the music were coming from a man named Rudo, who I promised to make a bolo for... not that he would be able to use it anyway. The elf tried to shoot at Rudo, but Rudo wasn't hurt by any of it. Then the elf shot at me, but I depressurized the air he shot at me - I'll show you how I did that later - and then I accidentally burnt him to the brink of death... so I took him into the void and scattered his remains; although I did take his bow first. It's a very nice bow - the string is unbreakable, and our bolos mean I can make arrows out of anything, "and to prove her point, Tera focused on the tiled floor and carved an arrow to fit the bow, "see?"
As Tera returned the arrow to the ground, Raven asked, "We'll catch up again at another point if either of us think of any questions... So what now, anyway?"
"I'm not sure... maybe the wasteland to make Rudo's bolo? Maybe home? I don't know..." Tera pondered, "but first, I should teach you how to depressurize a bolt of air."
"Don't bother, I already know how; I'm you, remember?"
"Right... So... I guess this is it for now?"
"For now."
And Raven opened the door at the end of the room and was greeted by a quiet port town, just past sunset, "Strange... that's not where we came from; I don't think we've ever been there before," Raven said curiously.
"Seeya soon Raven," Tera promised as she rose to her feet. With slow anticipation, Tera would then take her first steps into her split life, ready for her next journey.
