On topic: I thought the same thing. He only appeared when he was recognized as the new Hero, he mentioned being a hero, and he seemed to have had a wolf form (i'm assuming that
OoT Link could also become a wolf in the Twilight). Also, you need to play old
OoT and
MM songs (remix's, but the songs nontheless) in order to access him.
