First of all, I'm biased, seeing as AoL is one of my, if not my, favorite Zelda game.

It was an excellent game, introducing magic, and more tactical battle schemes with upstab and downstab. I liked the music, the enemies and the skill involved and needed to beat it. The music was good, hidden things, and traveling. The introduction of towns also was a great thing. I loved the game, and I think that it personally showed that Zelda wasn't just walking around a map, but it was slowly evolving into a more indepth game. And now we see how it made it's way from LoZ to TP, and it's awesome. And in my opinion, it all started with AoL.

In any case, the game was great, most people didn't like it due to the difference from LoZ and the attack modes, etc. I loved it.

Worst game ever? No effin way. Worst Zelda, to most people, yeah.

If you're into "worst video games of all time" or at least NES games, check out the angry nintendo nerd on youtube for some laughs. But his language is very strong so be weary.
