The Legend of Zelda: The Link of Memories
10 years later:
"In the lush green provinces of
Hyrule, light radiates across the land.
The bustling
Castle Town is lively as ever! I think they're giving away discounts on Ordon apples! 5 apples for every rupee! Oh, that's a hard deal to break!
Kakariko Village is finally rejuvenated and fixed after many years of nightmare and turmoil! The people of Castle Town find it the perfect hotspot for a brand new start towards business and livelihood. As the years went by, many of the people were beginning to take residence in the small village even during the remodeling.
Death Mountain is still silent without a single eruption today which is quite surprising. The applause and cheers of the
Gorons can be heard miles away in Kakariko Village as this week is the Annual Sumo Competition for the proud mountain-dwellers.
Lake Hylia is now bustling as never before! Tourists from all around Hyrule are beginning to show up now ever since the sighting of a
strange golden sea serpent spread across Hyrule.
And Zora's Domain's
Prince Ralis is now celebrating his first marriage with the soon-to-be
Queen of Zora's Domain. He only wishes that his mother and father are watching him from beyond! The beautiful
Princess Zelda would be attending this commemorative event herself! What an honor for the
Zoras.
Yes, Hyrule is indeed peaceful once more.
Stories and legends, however, were still told to the young ones of how the
Hero garbed in the
clothes of the prosperous grasslands of Hyrule saved them all from total and eminent darkness. Many of the parents also tell their young ones that the should have no fear of being alone, for the Hero is always watching them in the form of a
divine beast as the children play in the fields of Hyrule!
But
ominous legends still whispers today of a
realm different from the Goddess' creation and our's. Though merely a myth, it is told that it somehow still exists somewhere in the
desert of the mysterious
female convicts. But this realm now lost all ties and links to Hyrule, and shatters from the face of
Light.
Yes, many of these legends still barely breathes today...."
Well, it's past your bedtime, children! Time for you to get some sleep! Remember, Tinigle, you overslept today and was late for school! I don't want that to happen again!
As the people of Castle Town and Hyrule begin to fall to sleep as
twilight slowly fell, a
dark figure is roaming in the desert.
Where is he going? What is he holding in his hands?
The
dark figure, carrying a
sword and a
shield on his back, and wearing a
dark and unusual hat similar to the Legendary Hero, begins wandering across the desert carrying a
shiny, yet
reflective object.
All we can see is a smile on his face
"You think you've gotten rid of us. But we're not all gone from this Hylian-infested land..." the dark figure said.
"You all despised us...betrayed us..."
The people of Hyrule are oblivious to the dark deeds that are soon to be repeated as it did 10 years ago--
--suddenly...a
young boy woke up in a bed, confused and terrified from a terrible dream.
A
dream with a horrific image of someone that looked
oddly familiar to him, covered in the color of red and black...
"Where am I? Who am I?"
